Solar Plate Etching is an innovative and sustainably designed process developed by Liz’s colleague and printmaker Dan Welden. It makes use of a light sensitive polymer, sunlight and water. Eliminating the use of acids and solvents, Liz used this method to create hand-painted, limited editions of her sketches and drawings, some of which are exhibited here.
